Natural Lip Balms & Bath Bombs (A great class for moms and teens!)
Learn to make smooth, luxurious, never waxy lip balms. Students will learn to make their own lip balm that is not petroleum based, leaving lips less likely to become dry and chapped. We will also learn to make bath bombs another FUN bath time projects for kids AND grownups! Bath Bombs are like giant alka-seltzers for your bath - they spin, whirl and swirl in your bath while releasing scent and skin-softening agents. They make bath time SUPER fun! Students will make a variety of products to take home and recipes to use at home.
Students are encouraged to wear old clothing. All supplies are included.
Basic Soap Making: Natural: Cold-Process Soaps
Pamper yourself! Learn how to make a luxurious handmade bar of soap. In this class you will learn the cold-process method of making soap by actually creating your own unique pound of soap to take home. Cold process soaps are pure and gentle with great cleaning power. Strong enough for the mechanic, but gentle enough for a babies bottom! Rid your life of unnecessary chemicals by learning how the cold-process method works and controlling what goes into the soap you use. In addition to learning how to make soap, you will learn where to purchase supplies and take home a wealth of information.
Students are encouraged to wear old clothing.
Basic 2 soaps: Specialty Soaps (Taking Soap Class 1 before this class is recommended.)
What is your favorite scent? Experiment with an endless variety of fragrance oils. Learn to use the aromatic and herbal properties of essential oils. Students will see exotic butters that can be added for additional conditioning properties for their soap. Explore how to add little touches to your cold-processed soaps. Add natural colorants like herbs and clays for subtle variations or jazz it up by adding bright exciting colors. Oatmeal and other natural additives like corn meal or poppy seed can be added to create soap with a unique texture. Each student will make two different pounds of soap to take home.

Pamper Yourself! Salt Scrub Scrubs & Herbal Bath Teas
Explore the mystery behind the scrubs found in bath shops, this is a very versatile scrub, with endless fragrance possibilities. We will experiment with additives to create a scrub for your personal taste with the addition of jojoba beads, oatmeal or other added botanicals. Why stop there? In addition we will learn to make your own botanical tub tea. Students will make their own salt scrub and a set of 5 botanical tub teas to take home.
Goat's Milk Soap Making: Cold-Process Soaps
Discover how this natural, handcrafted soap with the added benefits of Goat Milk will cleanse your skin down to its deepest layers! Goat's Milk Soap offers you many benefits. Its pH level is similar to our own which protects the skin from harmful bacteria or chemicals. Plus, the Goat's Milk works with the glycerin, by bringing natural vitamins and minerals that are easily absorbable to the skin. Milk has been used as a skin cleanser and natural beauty aid for centuries. In addition to learning how to make soap, you will learn where to purchase supplies and take home a wealth of information.
